My daughters pup was crying, in pain and had a small amount of blood in his poo. She self diagnosed him on google and was terrified he had parvo. She raced him to this vet knowing she had no money but that either her partner or myself werent very far away and could pay the vet bill same day. When they found out she couldnt pay immediately even thou she explained either one of us could as soon as she contacted us they treated her like a criminal. Humiliated her, Embarrassed her, and put her down. They did a parvo test which came back negative and told her that meant nothing and he could still have it. They did remove some stuck poo in his bottom. We had both arrived home same time and i found my daughter in tears over the experience and thinking her baby had parvo. The vet wouldnt give her the antibiotics they felt the pup needed. I rang the receptionist to pay the bill half an hour or so after my daughter had been there she would not let me talk. She proceeded to speak over the top of me and let me know how disgusted she was with my daughter not paying immediately and also for even bringing a dog in there that "may have" had parvo. I asked her several times did she want me to pay the bill or not and as a result if her ranting and raving I hung up on her without paying the bill. My daughter took her to the vet I always go to and they were disgusted. A. The bleeding was a result of him being constipated.B. he definetly does not have parvo as hes been vaccinated which toowoomba vet hospital could see after my daughter gave them his records c. He did not need antibiotics. They removed the poo and that was all that was required. So question I would ask...WTH is wrong with u people??? Im disgusted in the treatment you gave my daughter.Shame on you. Parvo test wasnt even needed. Disgusting behaviour from the receptionist and the vet. Would highly NOT recommend this vet hospital.
